The Alumnae Leadership Academy (ALA) is a new initiative funded by the Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation. The ALA is a program where local alumnae associations self-identify, nominate and fund their own members to attend. Only members of alumnae associations are eligible to participate.
Attendees of the ALA build next-level leadership skills to bring back to help carry their association to new heights. Sisters who complete the ALA are eligible to work on Board committees and potentially be Board members later in life, helping perpetuate our culture of leadership and growth.
The Alumnae Leadership Academy has four objectives
- Develop a new generation of DPhiE alumnae leaders
- Help attendees understand the rich tradition, history, and values of DPhiE and apply them to leadership today
- Understand and apply the key skills that make a DPhiE leader effective
- Brainstorm and design approaches to engage alumnae more actively in DPhiE
