What is Extension?
Extension is the addition of a National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) chapter to the Panhellenic system on a college or university campus, or the establishment of a fraternity system on a campus where previously none had existed. Delta Phi Epsilon is always honored at the opportunity to colonize at new institutions internationally, ever-growing our already international organization.

NPC Guidelines
The following is taken directly from the National Panhellenic Conference website:
The NPC Extension Committee acts as the clearinghouse for both colleges and NPC groups by monitoring the development and/or extension of Panhellenic communities according to NPC extension protocol. This protocol is based on binding agreements followed by all 26 NPC member groups. It is critical to note that NPC groups will colonize only at appropriately accredited, bachelor degree-granting colleges and universities if permission has been granted by what we term the "Proper Authority." The identity of the Proper Authority depends on the particular situation and is described more fully in the materials available for download. The NPC Extension Committee serves to verify that the Proper Authority has granted permission and is also available to advise and assist in the various approaches of establishing chapters of NPC member groups.

Transfering to a school that doesn't have DPhiE?
If you are a Delta Phi Epsilon sister transferring to a university/college without a DPhiE chapter, please start by completing a Transfer/Non-Continuing form (available from IHQ).
Although you are a sister already, starting a DPhiE chapter for you will follow the same course as another university/college without Delta Phi Epsilon. Please see the NPC guidelines for detailed information. We would love to know if you want to begin this journey at your new school! Please contact DPhiE IHQ, with your questions and your information.
Local campus sorority interesting in affiliating with DPhiE?
Are you a local sorority looking to affiliate with an International sorority? Delta Phi Epsilon has partnered with local organizations in the past and just currently worked with the local Kappa Phi Nu Sorority at The University of Connecticut Stamford to become the newest DPhiE Chapter on campus in fall of 2010! Please contact your Fraternity and Sorority Advisor at your university/college with for more information on the colonization process.
