Delta Nu Rushes to the Top
Monday, October 5, 2009

The Delta Nu Chapter has already set itself above the rest on Temple University's campus, claiming the largest new member class out of formal recruitment this fall with 35 new members. With a total sisterhood of 103 members, the Delta Nu Chapter has becomes Temple's biggest sorority in their first official recruitment after re-colonizing last spring 2009.

"The hard work paid off" Vice President of Recruitment Joanna Casper said, "we talked about what kind of image and women we wanted to be known as. We tried the real girl approach; we were realistic and laid back. Esse quam videri."

On a campus with a student population as large as Temple's, there are only four NPC sororities. Aside from being able to find a home on campus, Casper attributes the chapter's success to the fact that the Potential New Members knew they would be a part of something special.

"We're the [re-colonized founders] and the PNMs knew they'd be the Alpha Class," Casper said, "they knew they would be able to build traditions and be a part of the chapter’s history."

Congratulations to Delta Nu and keep up the great work!
