Michigan Tech held its 3rd Annual Greek Awards April 21st and Epsilon Lambda chapter was recognized as a Chapter of Excellence! The chapter achieved an ‘excellence’ rating in all five of the values integration award criteria:

• Intellectual Development
• Leadership Development
• Service and Citizenship
• Fraternal Friendships
• Ritual & Values

Epsilon Lambda was one of only five out of 21 Greek organizations on the campus to receive the Chapter of Excellence award.

Epsilon Lambda's sisters also individually shined this year by receiving several other campus awards:

• 2 Order of Omega initiates - Kelsey Kusibab and LeAnn Koski
• 1 UIFI Scholarship - Dani Revord
• 1 sister inducted into the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society - Kelsey Kusibab
• 1 sister recognized as a 2009 Departmental Woman of Promise - LeAnn Koski
• 1 sister won Outstanding New Member of the Year award for 2008 - Dani Revord
