Colony Rho at Rutgers University - Officially Colonized
Wednesday, May 13, 2009

On Monday evening, May 11th, 28 women from Rutgers University - Camden started a new chapter in their book of life through their participation in the Colony Ritual. The group was welcomed by sisters from the closest NJ chapter at Rowan University and several local alumnae - including International Headquarters Executive Director, Nicole DeFeo and Chapter Management Services Coordinator, Denise Krieger.

The 28 new members have been anticipating this night since the Fall 2008 semester when talk first began of another NPC organization being chosen to extend to campus. Currently, Sigma Delta Tau is the only other chartered NPC organization. When the colony program is complete, Colony Rho will re-open the previously dormant Phi Tau chapter.

Colony Rho will begin the program in the fall, with the largest number of members in any Greek organization at the University.

Congratulations to Colony Rho and welcome!
