ANAD & Delta Phi Epsilon

Candlelight VigilANAD Candle Vigil_225.jpg
ANAD's Annual Candlelight Vigil has been selected as Delta Phi Epsilon's International Service Day Event, in order to raise awareness of dangers of eating disorders. Since 1989, chapters and alumnae associations throughout the United States and Canada host ANAD Candlelight Vigils.

Help Light the Night and Bring Eating Disorders Out of the Dark!
ANAD is challenging Delta Phi Epsilon chapters on college campuses nationwide to help raise funds by raising  awareness about eating disorders, while hosting an annual candlelight vigil. A Candlelight Vigil is an inspiring night to commemorate those who have lost their lives and recognize those who have recovered and survived, while also promoting eating disorder awareness to the general public.

ANAD provides all the materials needed to host a successful candlelight vigil with simple program guides and resources for everything from how to organize the event, to how to recruit team members and publicize the event. Download a copy of our Candlelight Vigil Event Packet to get started!

Student Bodies © Online Program
Student Bodies© is an eight week course combining an understanding of body image and self esteem with self-assessment and self-improvement tools. It is an interactive, web-delivered prevention program developed and studied at Stanford University and Washington University in St. Louis.  This is a prevention program for women who are troubled by poor body image or struggle with low self esteem.  It will not resolve eating disorder behaviors.
