Convention 2008

Save the Dates July 10-13, 2008, as DPhiE marches on D.C!

Convention 2008 is being held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA (www.crystalgatewaymarriott.com).

Programming for Convention 2008 will begin on Thursday, July 10, 2008, at 9:00am EST. All participants are encouraged to arrive on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, for registration, as Wednesday evening's stay at the hotel will be included in registration costs.

Please note: Please do not make reservations for a hotel room through the Crystal Gateway Marriott if you are fully registering for Convention 2008, as Convention hotel costs are included in your registration fee, and all hotel reservations are made by the International Headquarters.

Convention Registration is now available. Please submit all necessary forms and fees to the International Headquarters by March 17, 2008.

Heritage Tours
Heritage Tours is offering two different tour options (for a charge) for any Convention attendee who wishes to see the sights of Washington D.C. If you are interested in participating on either of these optional tours please view the attached flyer.

White House Tours
We are currently in the approval process of obtaining private tours of the White House Residence. These tours are tentatively scheduled for Saturday, July 12, 2008, during scheduled "free time." The length of the tours are between 30 and 60 minutes. Once formally approved, all registrants will be informed our their scheduled tour time (no earlier than 7:30 am and no later than 11:00 am). Space is limited, and the first 75 registrants will be accepted. To register for this tour please complete the official registration form.

***Area alumnae have agreed to lead informal/optional tours of the city for any attendee not wishing to register for a guided tour. These tours times and locations will be announced on-site.
