Website Guidelines
The Delta
Phi Epsilon International Sorority ("the Sorority") encourages
chapters and affiliated organizations (alumnae chapters, colonies)
to produce Sorority websites for their groups to provide information
for its members, prospective members, and the local community;
and to enhance the visibility and image of Delta Phi Epsilon.
The Sorority requires that content on such websites must follow
the guidelines of the Sorority as stated in these guidelines.
1-Chapters
and affiliate organizations must adhere to the Sorority guidelines;
abide by federal, state/providence, and local policies; and
follow the policies of the institution (college/university)
and/or ISPs/OSPs (Internet Service Providers/ Online Service
Providers).
2-The chapter must appoint a webmaster who is responsible
for building the website, maintaining the website, and serving
as the liaison with the Chapter Website Coordinator. A contact
e-mail address, and phone number must be sent to the International
Headquarters and International Website Coordinator on an annual
basis. The webmaster must notify the Chapter Website Coordinator
by e-mail of any content changes when they occur. The Chapter
Website Coordinator will visit the websites on a monthly basis.
Links to other websites, must be approved by the Chapter Website
Coordinator (i.e.: it is okay to link to a university homepage,
but it would NOT be okay to link to a "best beer of the world"
home page).

or improper costumes

others put on personal pages.
6-The crest, The TRIAD magazine
and Diamond newsletter, new member pin, sisterhood badge,
our Greek letters, and the name "Delta Phi Epsilon International
Sorority" are all trademarks of the Sorority. All chapters
are granted permission to use these images on their approved
websites provided that they credit the origin of the images
to the appropriate chapter and/or site.
7-When chapters are ready to go live with their website, they
must submit the url address (universal resource locator) of
the site to the Chapter Website Coordinator and the International Headquarters. It will be checked for clarity, accuracy, adherence
to guidelines, content and overall presentation. When the
webpage is approved, it will be linked to the International
Website in the Chapters section at http://www.dphie.org/chapters/active_chapters.shtml
Being that the Sorority is rapidly chartering into new territory,
it is important that we attain the same standard of Dedication,
Pride, and Excellence that we have grown for over 86 years,
and to have it shown and demonstrated in our websites as well.
Websites should reflect the character of individual chapters
on our campuses and a positive image of the Delta Phi Epsilon
International Sorority.
