During New Member Orientation, our new members display a lot of hard work and dedication to the sorority. To better commend our new members for their sincere devotion, Delta Phi Epsilon has created New Member Recognition Awards to be awarded to new members each New Member Orientation. These awards have been created from the PEARL Program and the Five S's of Self, Scholarship, Sisterhood, Social, and Service.

There are no rules as to whom may receive the awards, or how they may be distributed. You can make them as formal or as informal as you would like. You may give them out at new member meetings or at chapter meetings. We are supplying you with a template for the awards, but feel free to be creative. If you feel that more than one new member deserves a particular award, you can distribute the same award to multiple new members.

If your chapter would like to add to the list we have developed, please forward your award idea to info@dphie.org. Please remember that these awards are meant to acknowledge and honor the new members, not make a new member feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. Most importantly, have fun rewarding your new members for their hard work.
